CET ( standing for 'central european time' and the hungarian word for whale) by ONL [oosterhuis_lénárd]
, is a mixed-use development in the center of budapest. The buliding sits on the banks of the danube and its form reflects the curves of a whale's body.
The contemporary structure of tubular steel and glass is positioned between 19th century warehouses, with a glass ceiling arching out from a central spine to the exterior walls, creating an atrium filled with natural daylight.
