The Zanis Lipke Memorial Museum, is a rennovation by Zaigas Gailes Birojs of a bulding on the site of the original woodshed where Zanis and Johanna Lipke hid more than fifty jews during the nazi occupation of Latvia during World War 2. The museum presents an experience, with visitors being taken on a journey throught the space. The building is reminiscent of the barns typical to the area,

Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park, New York
The Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park, New York, was originally designed by louis kahn in 1974, economic factors put the project on hold until funds had been raised for the the completion of the project by Mitchell Giurgola Architects.
Visitors are channeled along a white granite plinth lined with trees to a courtyard which holds a bronze bust Franklin D. Roosevelt, on the backside, the four freedoms speech is engraved as a symbol of the president's legacy. the project is set to continue expanding with the 19th-century small pox hospital at the end of the site being transformed into a visitor center.

Giant’s Causeway Visitors’ Centre, Northern Ireland
Opened this summer, the Giant’s Causeway Visitors’ Centre, by Heneghan Peng Architects, holds an exhibition space, a cafe, toilets and a giftshop for the nearby tourist attraction. Subtley rising and falling out and into the landscape, it provides views of the coast from the cafe at the far end of the building.

The 150m weekend house by Shinichi Ogawa & Associates, hvae created a 150m x 11m private residence. The linear glazed frontage overlooks a lake at the base of the hill it's perced upon, with 6 bedrooms, personal bathrooms, spa and a 40m pool on top of the roof.
