University of Aberdeen Library
The University of Aberdeen library by Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects in Scotland, was established in 1495.
The campus is the world's fifth oldest english language university, and this new 15,500 square meter facility accommodates 14,000 students with 1,200 reading spaces, archives, historical collections and a room for rare books. There is an clear contrast between the obvious gemoetry of the box exterior and the askew curved voids that rise throught the interior space.
