Supertrees Singapore by Grant Associates
Part of the Gardens By The Bay project, a £350million development in the city's Marina Bay area, the Supertrees rise 50 metres into the sky, made from steel and concrete trunks and thick wire rods for branches.
The trees will be used to display plants from across the globe, with visitors able to take in a panoramic view of the gardens via an aerial walkway linking the artificial trees suspended 22 metres above the ground.
