N-House - Takato Tamagami

Japanese architect Takato Tamagami has completed two homes in Tokyo that are tangled around each other.

Named N-House, the four-storey building for two generations of the same family features pointed overhangs, balcony terraces and a rooftop garden with an overbearing ceiling.

The whole building jolts around a courtyard that belongs to the smallest residence but is overlooked by both. The largest of the two houses has rooms on every storey and has a living and dining room that occupies the entire top floor.
